One of my boyfriend's favorite sayings is "What does that have to do with the price of tea in China?" And that's exactly what this is -- just a collection of mini-essays from one person's perspective that may or may not have relevance. My intention was to create an outlet for my thoughts, ideas, and frustrations that will hopefully inspire some dialog with others.

Mostly unrelated, but I heard a new saying today that I like and plan on incorporating in my life. My office manager (who apparently picked this up while working construction) after doing an acceptable, but not particularly good job on a task said "Well, we're not building a piano". And everyone just stared at him until he explained its roots in passable construction work.
That is all. What a terrible comment.
Not a bad comment at all. We should all aspire to recognize the quality of our work in those terms.
Perfection is really an art. As such, it has little place in our work-a-day lives. The real beauty of a thing done/created perfectly lies in the image of the creator left in his/her creation.
When that's important, strive for perfection.
Nicely said. Now on to the important stuff-
Nader is back!!! Nader is back!!! Somebody tie Mags down.
